An auger filling system uses a rotating screw to dispense powder. When integrated with a compatible vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machine, the system forms bags from roll film, fills the product, then seals and cuts the finished packs.
Available configurations may include:
- Back-seal pillow bags for suitable powder packaging applications.
- Three-side seal sachets for small-portion packs and sample packs.
- Other bag formats subject to machine, film and application assessment.

Powders with the same weight can occupy different volumes. Flowability, bulk density, moisture and the tendency to form lumps can affect feeding and dosing performance.
Fine or dusty powders may also require additional assessment of product handling and dust control. The auger configuration should be matched to the product and filling range; one screw may not suit every required pack weight.
